Heyoooo! This week was pretty sick. We got a lot of good work done so I am pumped. A bunch of potentials in the Samoan ward to so thats pretty nice.
Monday we went on a hike with the E. Shumway and all the ysa aged peeps in the Samoan ward. It was pretty tight. John Nu'u left for Missouri for boot camp a few days later so it was kind of a farewell thing. His real last name is Nunez but hes in the Samoan ward sooo they gave him a Samoan name haha
Tuesday we had zone meeting. It was pretty boring, I cant stand sitting there for so long. This one was a little more awful because our "I am the best missionary ever" district leader gave a training and practiced priest craft,m meaning, even though Jesus Christ gave an interpretation of a parable, this missionary said that he though his interpretation was better. *sigh*
We saw the Rosales fam and went pretty bold. Its hard meeting with people for so long and not seeing them progress so I just sorta threw down with scriptures (Mormon 8:38 if you were wondering) But hey, they came to church!
Wednesday we went to Apple Valley after having seen a few peeps in Ghettolanto. We picked up a new Samoan investigator who used to be a former for the YSA! It was super cool because we had Malcom with us and they knew eachother. #blessings
Thursday we took Malcom again in the morning to AppleValley but a lot of people werent home, we were still able to teach a few people before hitting up a sushi joint for lunch.
We werent let into any houses until splits that night. I went to the Savea/Motufau homes and had a good chat with them. It was kinda awk because they kept saying that if I went to the island they would go crazy to "have a cute little white boy like you" haha llooooooooll it was pretty weird.
Friday we weekly planned with the Tongan elders next to the pool in their apartment. We saw a few people in adelanto again, the work is progressing pretty well up there. Then we had dinner at our WML's home. He has two potential families in the Samoan ward for us to stop by! Also I cant remember what day but we totally followed some guy in his car to find out were he lived because he looked Samoan #RighteousStalking
I will let you know what happens when we knock his door.
Saturdaywas pretty basic, seeing people until dinner. Everyday has just become a "survive until dinner" experience for me. The Samoans have wrecked me.
But we ate at the Sagapolo's house. He is a fisherman so he gets hecka fish for free. We ended up eating a ton of swordfish and a massive plate of tuna sashimi. Dang it was hecka good.
Sunday was sunday, ya feel?
Thats all fam!
