Heyo!
this week was crazy, I dont really remember a ton. It was the last week of the 7 week transfer (they are usually 6 weeks long). Elder Boltz and I are both staying! I am super psyched to keep working in the Samoan ward. Elder Boltz thinks we will stay together until he goes home in July which would be sick.
Tuesday we had a zone meeting. I gave the safety thought and the ZL's sort of egged me on to somehow tying Kolob into it, thinking that I couldnt.... their mistake haha. But yea it was cool. We saw the Nonu family and were able to watch a general conference talk with them. I cant really remember what else happened that day....
Wednesday... gosh dangit I left my planner from last transfer at home. are you ready for a random jumble of events?
We have more investigators in Hesperia and AppleValley so we are travelling a lot more. A bunch of polys in the stake make music so we listen to island music everywhere its pretty sick.
Our house started flooding, this morning actually right before we went to pick up Elder Loveless' new comp. Its sort of fixed now but we dont have water #thestruggle
Elder Hurley (our housemate) and Elder Jennings (my trainer) are currently on airplanes home right now... crazy
Our Adelanto investigator Shanay showed up to church! I guess we never really realized how weird our ward is until she came and we wanted a good impression.
There were a ton of Samoan LA's that came to church which was awesome! but we had to leave early to give a blessing
We had Elder Loveless with us SUnday night because Elder HUrley was down the hill. We had a big dinner, he made the rookie mistake of eating quickly so they kept giving him food. You hafta learn the tricks of eating so they dont give you your 3rd and 4th plates #SamoanLyfe
Elder WIlding is our new housemate, he seems super cool. Elder Boltz and I are messing with him a bit because he doesnt know either of us haha.
Sorry I dont remember a whole lot. Elder Boltz and I plan on taking some sick pics in Ghettolanto this week or today so yea. But dont get your hopes up we super busy.
Have a good week fam!!
Elder Ockey
